Head Over Feeling
  1. Dear you, I really didn’t know what kind of idea Kickstarter would turn out to be. It felt weird, asking people to donate. But then I got to thinking about it, what better way for us all to be involved in this project together! There are others out there that believe in this music, so why do it alone!? It turned out I was right, not gonna lie I was scared at moments, but we pulled through together! So thank you for investing, YOU mean the world to my family and I, seriously. My grandma called me probably 5 times in the last couple days of the project ending. She was so happy and thankful, I could literally hear her smile in every single word she said! And not only that, she also reminded me: “Taylor, now you be sure and tell those lovely people thank you for donating their money to us.” haha. as I responded: “Yes mam. You know I will!” So on behalf of my grandma and I, thank you! ;) I don’t know what we’d do without you, certainly not making a music video!! :D We will officially start filming in June! #highfive TM

    A toast:

    Here’s to you. You lovers of music and so forth. I give myself to you, free-ly. Do with this music what you may. Dress it up and take it to dinner with you. Make it some hot cocoa or even perhaps give it a name like Billy or Robert. Whatever you do, do not be afraid to introduce Rob-Billy to your friends. He’s quite a guy if I might say so myself, at times he can be quite loud and melodic but that’s just his own little way of saying hello and that he loves you. Don’t be ashamed. He means well.

    Can’t wait to hear your stories.

  3. HEAD OVER FEELING VALENTINES DAY WINNER!!

    I completely underestimated you guys. I thought these videos were going to be cool, but they’re amazing! It takes a lot of time to make a video let alone upload it. (we all know about these internet connections..) You made me incredibly happy! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who participated!!! It just goes to show how close we’re becoming, can’t wait to share the rest of my life with you guys! This was one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, but the winner is… Juliette Lin! Can’t wait to Skype hang with you! For everyone else, I love you and you will not go unrewarded for the time you spent :)

                                   Taylor Mathews Valentine’s Day Video Contest

    Contest Rules:

    All submissions must be of original content only. The content submitted can and may be

    used for promotion of the song and/or EP “Head Over Feeling”. All submissions must be

    sent to taylormathewsvdaycontest@gmail.com

    Videos may only use the song “Head Over Feeling.” Video length should be at least

    thirty (30) seconds long, and may be the entire length of the song “Head Over Feeling”.

    Any portion of the song “Head Over Feeling” may be used for this promotional video.

    All content in all videos must be kept at a PG-13 rating. This means that no foul

    language or behavior may be included in the videos. If video is of suitable (not “foul”)

    content, then the video will be uploaded to Taylor Mathews’ various social media pages for viewing.

    All submissions are due by February 10, 2012. Early submission is allowed. No late

    submissions will be accepted.

    Once the video has been screened, it will be uploaded for viewing. Taylor Mathews will

    pick a winner from the submitted videos. The winner will be announced on Valentine’s

    Day, February 14, 2012. The winner will receive a signed copy of the EP “Head Over

    Feeling” and a Skype date with Taylor Mathews.

    By submitting your video for submission, you agree to all these rules and conditions.

  9. A Whole Lot of Awesome!

    Okay first off. New website! First step of awesome is complete! :D

    Next, my EP is coming out within a couple of weeks!! For all of you Lousianians, I’m coming back home to play a special CD release show DECEMBER 16TH!! If you want to be a part of this party! Buy your tickets before they run out! It’s going to be INSANE!!
